This is a Friends Outside contract position providing assistance to visitors through the Visitor Center, a sheltered area, which is outside of the security perimeter, for visitors who are waiting before or after visits or need services which include transportation, child care for visitors’ children, emergency clothing, information on visiting regulations and processes.
Required Qualifications
Candidates must have an AA degree or 2 years social service and supervisory experience.
Pass a criminal clearance and TB test.
Obtain CPR Certification prior to employment
Location:
San Quentin State Prison, San Quentin, CA
Wages: $20.00/hour
Hours:
36 hours/week:
Thursday 730-1530, Friday , Saturday 730-1530, and Sunday 730-1530 and one 4-hour Administrative Day during the week
Holidays: 4 major holidays:
New Years Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day
Job Type: Part-time
