Why does this job exist and why is it critical?
The Solar Finance Admin Associate will play a crucial role in managing financial operations related to our solar business. This position involves calculating payouts and accruals, validating complex supplier invoices, and ensuring financial integrity through thorough SAP to actuals reconciliations. The ideal candidate will have a background in finance or business, good organizational skills, and a keen eye for detail.
Job Responsibilities
- Accurately calculate payout and accruals for solar expenses
- Prepare reports to track and reconcile payouts and accruals, ensuring accurate cost recognition and timely month-end close
- Validate supplier invoices against purchase orders, contracts, and completion documents; liaising with Finance to resolve discrepancies
- Monitor CAPEX / OPEX spends and maintain detailed records of solar installation
- Perform actual vs SAP reconciliations to ensure solar financial data integrity
- Develop financial models to analyse and improve visibility of key cost measures for actionable plans.
Requirements
- Problem Solving Mindset: Likes to identify issues and develop solutions.
- Proficient in Excel: Comfortable using excel for analysis, reporting and tracking feedback.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous, ensuring accuracy when handling detailed work and data.
- Strong Communication Skills: Good English verbal and written communication skills.
- Team Player: Contributes positively to group discussions and initiatives.
- Education Qualification: Preferably Degree holder
Duration of Programme
Starting August or September for 12 months
