Full Job Description
Hospital Services Corporation provides credentialing and provider enrollment services for various hospitals nationwide. The Provider Enrollment Administrative Assistant will assist with enrolling healthcare practitioners in various contracted health plans on behalf of our customers, with an emphasis on customer support, data processing accuracy, and timeliness.
1. Assist Provider Enrollment Specialists with various activities related to assisting with enrolling practitioners with contracted health plans including data entry, follow-up with health plans, providers, and customer communication via phone and/or email.
2. Follow up regularly with health plans to check on the status of enrollment applications, provide additional information and ensure items are being processed in accordance with industry standards and timelines, escalating any issues to the Manager as necessary to ensure timely completion.
3. Accurately track follow up activity using in-house tracking tools and databases, including detailed, accurate notes of action taken.
4. Works closely with team members to ensure that all provider enrollment files for customers are completed in a timely manner.
5. Meet daily productivity standards and monthly department metrics. Achieve other goals as determined during the performance planning process.
6. Assist with maintaining various reports for distribution to appropriate internal and external customers. Such reports include, but are not limited, to notification of enrollment approvals, provider enrollment status reports and Provider Enrollment Research projects.
7. Assist with preparation for regular customer meetings and communication. Take lead in working directly with the customer in providing customer with regular provider enrollment activities and updates.
8. Handle Customer Services calls, as received through the call rotation system, and submit tickets to our Companywide ticketing system, as appropriate.
9. Handle assigned customer service tickets in a timely manner and support the Customer Services desk, as necessary.
10. Other duties as assigned by the Staff Readiness Manager.
