As a Purchasing Administrative Assistant, you will enter a structured 18-month program aimed at developing essential administrative and procurement skills. This position requires strong organizational capabilities and the ability to juggle multiple priorities effectively. You’ll contribute to a critical joint Canada-US radar network while learning about the procurement process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Input purchasing information accurately and timely

• Organize digital files of vendor communications

• Track purchase orders in Oracle and Maximo systems

• Follow up on outstanding items with suppliers

• Ensure compliance with procurement policies

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent

• Status as a beneficiary under Nunavut, Nunatsiavut, or Inuvialuit claims

• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills

• Ability to work cross-culturally

• Knowledge of Inuktitut is an asset
