Position: Purchasing Clerk and Inside Sales Role
Join a dynamic horticultural supply firm as a Purchasing Clerk and Inside Sales representative. You’re poised to manage purchasing tasks and liaise with suppliers effectively.
This full-time position combines purchasing clerk responsibilities with inside sales functions from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Friday. Key tasks include preparing quotes, negotiating with suppliers, and updating inventory costs and selling prices. You’ll also work with the sales team, processing customer orders and answering incoming calls to provide service.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare quotes and negotiate with suppliers
• Update inventory costs and selling prices
• Work with sales staff for accurate product costs
• Process customer orders and assist incoming calls
• Manage product purchasing and order processing
Requirements:
• Organized and eager to learn new tasks
• Experience in agriculture or horticulture is preferred
• Proficient in Office 365 and order entry systems
• Excellent communication and multi-tasking skills
• Motivated to work independently after training
