The Quality Assessments Division of Smithers is seeking a full-time Quality Coordinator to join our team. As Quality Coordinator, you will manage and track activities concerned with the quality management system of Smithers Quality Assessments (SQA), focusing on document control, ticket management, internal witness audit schedule, external audit preparation, and monitor IATF rules 6th timings in BOS in conjunction with OSCs/Technical Specialist, Quality Manager and Sector Managers. Duties
:
Support IATF sector Operations Specialist on the submission of client application documents.
Monitor client submission of Risk Based Auditor Duration requests.
Issue client pre-planning letters and monitor client pre-data timings, including follow-up reminders to clients as timing deadline approaches and report any failures to meet required pre-data timings.
Collaborate with Operations Specialist and IATF Sector Manager to monitor timings, regarding audit report, auditor packages and NC management in BOS and report any missed timings.
Attend and participate in document review meetings and work with IT to update BOS templates and Chinese translations.
Monitor document approvals and monthly document revision notifications.
Monitor and track SQA Internal Witness Audit schedule in coordination with appropriate sector managers and qualified witness audits.
Monitor annual ANAB witness audits, submit pre-audit data as required, report and assign any audit findings in BOS ticket system.
Conduct ANAB office audit prep meetings and punch-list.
Monitor and track SQA Internal Audit schedule to ensure completion within required time frames, report and assign any audit findings in BOS ticket system.
Support ticket entry and assignments for survey results, customer complaints, non-compliance disputes, and internal/external audits to ensure timely completion as defined in SQA procedures.
Qualifications:
A bachelor’s degree is preferable but minimum of an associate degree (A.A.) and two to four years related technical sector experience and two to five years’ experience in Quality Assurance environment.
Knowledge of quality systems requirements. Prefer knowledge of Accreditation Requirements (e.g. ISO 17021 and the MD series of Standards).
Knowledge of ISO 9001 requirements with knowledge of sector-specific requirements (IATF 16949, IATF Rules, AS91XX
, AS9104-XX, AS9101x).
Lead auditor credentials preferred.
