Real Estate Management Bookkeeper Jobs in Chicago, Illinois, USA at Dimensions Management

Dimensions Management is looking for a Bookkeeper to join our property management team. The successful candidate will work closely with the general manager preparing monthly financial reports for our commercial/apartment buildings as well as other administrative duties and projects. The ideal candidate will live close to the Lincoln Park office in Chicago.

Primary Responsibilities:

Obtain primary financial data for accounting records

Compute and record data

Check accuracy of business transactions

Perform data entry and administrative duties

Permanent part-time with flexible hours (20-25 hours per week) – Full-time position possible.

Qualifications:

Fundamental knowledge of bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable, bank account reconciling and record keeping.

Knowledge of basic computer operations and programs including Microsoft Word and Excel.

Knowledge of property management or real estate business is a plus.

Knowledge of Appfolio Property Management software is a big plus.

Ability to prioritize and multitask with strong organizational skills.

Deadline and detail-oriented.
