Administrative Assistant, Minimum Salary: $37,735 per year, USCA School of Business Administration

Under the general supervision of the Dean of the School of Business Administration (SOBA) at USCA, this position provides broad-based administrative and faculty support services and assists the SOBA Dean, the Pacer Center Director, and the Director of Online Learning in implementing internal operating procedures. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Ability to establish and maintain effective and professional working relationships with faculty, administrators, staff, students, parents, co-workers and the general public. Strong organizational, problem-solving, interpersonal and written and oral communication skills. Minimum Requirements: High school diploma or GED and 1 or more years of experience. Preferred: Bachelor’s degree with one or more years of experience. Experience using Microsoft software. Application deadline: June 23, 2025. Women and minorities are encouraged to apply. Manage all administrative tasks of the SOBA Dean’s Office, including the Dean and Professional Staff, as assigned or as required by University or SOBA policies. To record accurate and complete minutes of all SOBA meetings as requested and maintain electronic files of the minutes. To manage calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings, including arranging logistics, preparing agendas, and taking minutes. To maintain secure and complete records of all non-student-related SOBA activities as requested. Maintain complete confidentiality of matters discussed in the Dean’s Suite and meetings. Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, presentations, and other documents.

Answers phone calls and directs foot traffic for SOBA. Assist with the coordination of academic programs, events, and workshops. Assist with coordinating accreditation visits. Address voice mail promptly. Assists students and responds to external and internal inquiries as directed. Providing appropriate and helpful communication is essential for these individuals. Includes support for SOBA Professional staff as needed.
