About The RoleRing Concierge is a rapidly growing female-founded fine jewelry company specializing in customized engagement rings and fine jewelry. We are seeking a Receptionist to become an integral part of our team. In this role, you will be responsible for greeting and announcing visitors, assisting incoming and outgoing mail, and maintaining the upkeep of the client facing areas. Attention to detail and strong communication skills are essential for this position. Your central goal is to provide our clients/employees/guests with an outstanding customer experience and support. As the first person our clients will see, a successful candidate will be presentable and friendly, with outstanding people skills. You should have a talent for multi-tasking, with excellent organizational skills.
Responsibilities
Provide reception duties for the office which includes management of internal/external clients in a timely and professional manner
Greet all clients/visitors and direct them to the appropriate waiting area
Provide them water, coffee, tea and/or champagne (when applicable)
Receive and greet all visitors in a professional and warm manner and coordinate with colleagues when their client/visitor arrives
Monitor the reception calendar to constantly be aware of planned visitors/clients
Remain readily available during appointments/external meetings to serve beverages, assist team members during appointments, direct visitors to the restroom
Ensure reception area is clean and presentable
Maintain the visual appearance and upkeep of all client facing areas
Spot vacuum/sweep when necessary
Light candles
Wipe down countertops
Maintain office plants
Accept all incoming mail, letters and packages and distribute to the appropriate personnel
Prepare outgoing mail, letters and packages
Manage the reservation of meeting spaces, ensuring that rooms are not double booked
Ensure that the conference room is always prepped for Executive meetings , making sure VC equipment is set-up, closing the privacy curtain, and having beverages readily available
Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling office access via the reception desk
Provide miscellaneous support to the Chief of Staff and Office Manager
Provide support for the NYC Office in assisting with various administrative tasks

Requirements
1+ years of prior experience as a receptionist or administrative office position
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Must be proficient in Mac computers, Google Suite and Microsoft Office preferred

Full-time role located in midtown NYC
Office Hours: 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, with the knowledge that we have a startup culture and your day may extend past listed office hours
