Position Overview:
The world’s leading entertainment streaming provider is looking for a Receptionist who will act as the first point of contact for all guests and candidates, provide general assistance to visitors and internal employees, give administrative support, and deliver exceptional customer service with enthusiasm.
You will work closely with the Workplace Team and stakeholders to make our New York office a world class place to visit and work. This is an onsite role with the hours of 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday-Friday.
Responsibilities:
Provide the highest level of customer service to all visitors, employees, candidates, and vendors, and ensure their arrival and access is welcoming and seamless
Manage specialty spaces and client-facing rooms so that they maintain a professional appearance and are ready for incoming guests and events
Assign, monitor, and complete employee requests via ticketing system and office slack channel
Manage distribution of access badges for new and current employees and support staff
Perform administrative tasks such as compiling reports, performing audits, tracking data, scanning, research, etc.
Partner with stakeholders in NY and remote teams worldwide
Assist the NY Workplace Team in setting up special events such as happy hours, pop-ups, internal meetings, parties and other events
Be familiar with your office, and the building’s emergency response and evacuation procedure
Assist the Workplace Team with special projects as needed
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree is a plus
Previous reception or administrative support experience a plus
Must be a team player, flexible, positive, and professional, especially when faced with a changing environment
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to be resourceful and proactive
Experience with Google Drive (Google Docs, Google Sheets, etc.) is preferred
Highly organized, able to effectively prioritize and respond accordingly to the shifting needs of the team
Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment
