Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Receptionist role based in Kathmandu. The Receptionist will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, greeting guests, answering incoming calls, and directing inquiries to the appropriate team members. Daily responsibilities include managing the front desk, handling mail and deliveries, maintaining visitor logs, and ensuring the reception area is organized and welcoming. The role will also support basic clerical tasks such as scheduling appointments, updating records, and assisting with document preparation. The Receptionist will collaborate closely with internal teams to provide smooth communication and an excellent experience for clients and partners.
Qualifications
- Strong customer-facing abilities, including Customer Service and Communication skills to interact professionally with clients, visitors, and colleagues.
- Proficiency in core Receptionist Duties, such as greeting guests, managing the front desk, and handling inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner.
- Solid Phone Etiquette to answer, route, and manage calls clearly, promptly, and respectfully.
- Basic Clerical Skills, including managing schedules, maintaining records, handling mail, and using common office software and equipment.
- Ability to stay organized, multitask, and prioritize in a busy office environment.
- Comfort working on-site in Kathmandu and collaborating with a diverse, cross-functional team.
- Previous experience in a receptionist, front desk, or administrative role is preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training in administration or customer service is an advantage.
