Qualifications
High school diploma or GED; or 1-3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Basic First Aid and CPR certification where required.
Successful completion of all Atria specified training programs.
Ability to read and understand simple instructions, memos, and correspondence; ability to write simple correspondence; effective in small group and one-on-one communication.
Ability to perform basic math operations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with numbers up to 100.
Ability to understand and carry out detailed instructions and handle standardized problems involving concrete variables.
Proficiency in operating telephones, emergency call systems, monitoring boards, photocopiers, and other office equipment. Ability to work various schedules and shifts as needed.
Responsibilities
Answer incoming calls cheerfully, determine purpose, and direct to appropriate personnel.
Retrieve and forward voice mail messages.
Take and deliver messages or transfer calls when staff are unavailable.
Provide community information, directions, and refer specific questions to staff.
Greet visitors, determine their purpose, and announce them to staff.
Coordinate guestroom reservations.
Maintain a current list of hospitalized residents.
Update appointment calendars and transportation schedules as directed.
Manage mail, publications, and deliveries.
Create and print documents, memos, reports, and correspondence as needed.
Perform clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and collating.
Order and maintain office supplies.
Collect rent checks and store purchase payments, providing information to bookkeeping.
May drive community vehicle for social and other destinations, if required.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Salary Range
The wage range for this position is $16.35/hr – $18.80/hr, depending on prior experience and work history.
