A quickly growing Colorado Springs family, criminal and military law firm is seeking applicants with prior experience both as a legal receptionist or intake specialist with some minor paralegal duties. Applicants must have the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, the ability to communicate directly with clients and potential clients and the ability to think critically. Applicants must also be able use a variety of technology platforms related to the sales/intake process. Prior experience as a legal receptionist and/or intake specialist is preferred. Previous experience in the field of criminal law, family law or military law is a big plus.
This is a great job for a recent college graduate looking for experience in the legal field.
​Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a receptionist and/or intake specialist
- The ability to communicate well with clients and potential clients
- The ability to “sell” potential clients
- Bachelors degree preferred but not required
- The ability to draft basic pleadings with little oversight (we can train as long as you can write)
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Fun and friendly
- Ability to use a variety of tech/sales platforms
- Ability to analyze data and use excel spreadsheets
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 – $21.00 per hour
