Responsibilities:
– Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
– Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries
– Verify insurance information and collect necessary payments
– Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of information
– Assist with dental administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
– Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient confidentiality
– Collaborate with medical staff to provide excellent patient care
Experience:
– Previous experience working in a medical office or dental office is preferred
– Proficiency in dental administrative support tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records
– Familiarity with dental software programs such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix Acsend is a plus
– Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
Requirements:
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
– Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
– Proficient in using computer software for administrative tasks
– Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times
