Receptionist/Office assistant Jobs in Zambia at Rohlik Group

Title: Receptionist/Office assistant

Company: Rohlik Group

Location: Zambia

As a Receptionist, you’re not just the first smiling face people see when they enter the office — you’re also the calm in the chaos, the one who knows where everything is, and the quiet hero behind smooth daily operations. From handling meeting rooms, post, samples, and access cards to managing coffee machine mysteries, you make our office a great place to work (and visit).

You should also be able to deal with emergencies in a timely and effective manner. Multitasking and stress management skills are essential for this position. A little bit of economic thinking and being a team player will be appreciated as well.

You’ll keep things running like a well-oiled machine, deal with surprises like a pro, and still have time to smile and offer someone a biscuit. Sound like you? Read on.

What Will Be Your Key Responsibilities

Be in the front line — greeting visitors and colleagues with a smile (even on Monday mornings)

Offer guests a warm welcome and point them to the best meeting room (or the best coffee)

Make sure meeting rooms are tidy, booked, and occasionally full of sandwiches

Help with catering orders for internal events (because someone will forget the gluten-free option)

Master the art of access cards: issuing, tracking, and finding the one someone lost (again)

Issue pool cars for colleagues going on business trips — keys, paperwork, and all that jazz

Take care of parking reservations like a traffic controller on a mission

Keep the office stocked with essentials — coffee, snacks, pens, sanity…

Have full control over incoming mail, packages, samples, and the occasional mystery delivery

Be the link between us and building management when the A/C rebels or the lights go out

Go on occasional office errands, enjoy the fresh air and bring back both receipts and the right items

Scan, print, file, repeat — and look happy doing it

Log receipts and invoices like a mini finance wizard

Be responsible for the petty cash box (and guard it like a dragon hoards treasure)

Assist with regular inventories (yes, counting chairs is a thing)

Take on various ad hoc tasks with a “sure, no problem” attitude

Keep calm during daily office curveballs — “The coffee machine won’t work”, “I lost my badge”, “Do we have almond milk?”

What Experience Should You Have

You’re not afraid to pick up the phone, write an email, or say “I’ll sort it!”

You can juggle tasks like a circus pro and still smile when someone asks for the Wi-Fi password (for the 5th time)

You love making people’s workdays easier and brighter

You stay cool when it’s hectic and zen when someone books the same room twice

You’re a team player who enjoys the occasional after-work drink or spontaneous office joke

Your Czech and English should roll off the tongue – fluent and smooth, no hiccups

Bonus points if you’ve ever fixed a jammed printer without swearing (out loud)

What Do You Get In Return

Your work will have a direct impact on the company’s results

We will implement your good ideas almost immediately – not waiting for the approval of the headquarters somewhere on the other side of the world

You will not be bound by corporate processes

Your work has to be innovative and meaningful, we do not want to follow the trends, but rather set them

Last but not least, we offer a fair reward and the possibility of professional growth and education, also a great bunch of people around and legendary company events
