Prominent New York City based mid-sized Law Firm is seeking a receptionist/assistant to join their dynamic support team. Great opportunity for a candidate who loves the hospitality world but wants to do it in a professional services environment.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as an ambassador of the firm
  • Be the first point of contact for in-person visitors
  • Answering and directing telephone calls
  • Greet, announce, and escort guests
  • Reserve conference rooms
  • Maintain appearance and organization of front desk and reception area
  • Manage hotel desk system
  • Hours are 8am – 4pm with some light paid OT beyond related to onsite events

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience working in a client facing, professional services environment
  • Professional with a polished demeanor
  • Excellent interpersonal and client service skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Strong computer skills
  • Be a punctual, organized, detail oriented with the ability to multi-task
