Receptionistis the first point of contact and must possess excellent interpersonal skills to interact with clients, patients, and hospital staff. Responsibilities include: schedule appointments for medical services, daycare, boarding, grooming and training; coordinate walk-in clients and scheduled appointments to maximize the productivity of the veterinary medical team and insure operational efficacy and excellent customer service; maintain and update medical records; prepare client invoices and process client transactions; respond to client inquiries in person, via phone and email as well as inquiries from other medical facilities; maintain appropriate levels of inventory including food, treats, educational materials, and office supplies; reconcile cash and deposit funds. Prior receptionist experience required.
Qualified candidates must demonstrate a passion for animals; possess excellent customer service skills, a strong work ethic, the ability to multi-task, work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities as well as work in a fast-past environment, and interact and communicate with staff and clients.
