Old Mill is a leading accounting firm seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our clients, you will be responsible for creating a positive experience in our office. As our Receptionist, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a wide range of clients and sectors, helping to drive our continued success.

We are looking for two part time Receptionists to join us in our Wells office with the following work patterns;

Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 8.30am – 5.30pm (24hr week)

Monday to Friday 10am – 2pm (20hr week)

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome clients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner

Answer and direct phone calls to the appropriate staff member

Manage and distribute mail and packages

Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the reception area and conference rooms

Manage meeting room bookings

Schedule appointments and meetings for staff members

Assist with administrative tasks, such as data entry, printing requests and filing

Log all incoming accounts records/tax papers/VAT papers and distribute to appropriate teams, or arrange to be sent to other offices

Provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive client experience

Requirements

We are looking for a friendly and professional individual to join our team as a Receptionist. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and customer service skills, be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, and demonstrate strong attention to detail and organisational abilities. The role requires the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment. A positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to support wider administrative tasks as needed are essential. Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative position would be an advantage.
