Come join the Weigand-Omega Team for this exciting opportunity. We are looking to add a Residential Regional Property Manager to our team. The Regional Property Manager’s goal is to maximize the income and control the expenses at each residential community within the RPM’s assigned small to medium sized management portfolio. This position is responsible for overseeing and supervising the day-to-day operations and organization of each residential management office and staff ensuring that the property is clean, in good repair and target occupancy is met.
The RPM operates each property according to the goals established by the ownership entity and according to Weigand-Omega policy.
The Regional Property Manager shall exercise discretion within company guidelines in dealing with a wide variety of situations (i.e. promoting increased rental revenue, servicing residents’ needs, collecting rents and fees, maintaining the property, etc.). Knowledge, Abilities and Other Qualities
The ability to apply principles of logical thinking to a variety of practical situations and accurately follow standardized procedures that may occasionally call for minor deviations.
The ability to think rationally beyond a specific set of instructions.
The capability to work at a fast pace and with multiple tasks, perform duties while under pressure and meet deadlines in a timely manner, interact/communicate with other site employees, residents, visitors, and the public in a professional and pleasant manner.
Must have good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to compose grammatically correct correspondence with legible penmanship and/or accurate typing skills.
Computer literacy and proficiency in programs like MS Word and MS Excel.
The ability to correctly deal with lease documents, fill out paperwork, and keep accurate records.
The ability to compute rental amounts, prorates, discounts, percentages, bank deposits, and basic to intermediate math computations.
Must have good customer service skills, a professional phone manner, an outgoing personality, and the ability to successfully interact with all types of people.
Supervisory skills in order to direct, lead, train and resolve employee disputes.
The self-motivation to set and accomplish goals personally and for the company.
Experience Training and
Education
Must have a high school diploma or equivalency; a college degree is preferred.
Must have a minimum of four years of experience in management, and at least two years of prior apartment management experience is preferred.
The CPM designation is preferred.
