Part-Time Office Administrator

Professional Service Industries, Inc. (Intertek-PSI) is looking for a Part-Time Office Administrator to join our Building & Construction team in Canton, MA.

Intertek-PSI is a leading US based provider of assurance, testing, inspection, and consulting solutions in civil and commercial construction. Our broad service offering includes construction materials testing, geotechnical engineering, environmental consulting, industrial hygiene, and specialty testing. Through these risk management and quality assurance services, we ensure the reliability, safety and performance of our client’s new developments, existing assets, and facilities.

How you’ll make an impact at Intertek:

Verifies reports are completed by laboratory and field staff based on what is reported on their timesheets
Assists in preparing invoices for work performed
Manages Accounts Payable for Materials Testing, Geotechnical Engineering, and Environmental Science operations
Participates in Accounts Receivable meetings to maintain bad debt ratio

What it takes to be successful in this role:

High School Diploma or equivalent is required
Experience is Microsoft Word and Excel is required
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Excellent prioritization, organization, and time management skills
Must be detail oriented
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with shifting priorities
Ability to analyze and solve problems
Ability to type quickly and accurately
Ability to plan, organize, and complete a variety of projects within established standards, objectives, and time frames
