Remote Administrative Assistant – Insurance Industry Jobs in Barstow, CA at Legacy Career Solutions

We are a fast-growing Restoration and Roofing company with multiple locations across Texas. You’ll be working within a team of admins to support the operational functions of our company. We’re looking to add another Administrative Assistant to our team to be an essential part of our thriving organization. * 30 hours/week, M-F, daily schedule TBD for the right candidate, could be perfect role for a mom or dad looking to be able to take kids to school and be there for pick up!

Key Responsibilities:

Answering Phones: Be the friendly voice and first point of contact for our valued customers. Handle incoming calls and inquiries with professionalism and courtesy.

Collection and Payment Processing: Call customers to collect payments, submit invoices to insurance, support the team in payment processing tasks, providing efficient and secure payment handling.

Record-Keeping and File Management: Maintain meticulous records and files, ensuring all documents are properly organized and easily accessible.

Database Management: Update and maintain databases, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.

Other Clerical Duties as Assigned: Embrace additional responsibilities to support the company’s core functions.

Qualifications:

Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills and a methodical approach to managing tasks and responsibilities.

Multi-Tasking: Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.

Attention to Detail: Strong ability to perform duties with a high levels of accuracy.

Computer Literacy: Knowledge of basic computer software applications such as Outlook and Google Sheets, experience with Quickbooks preferred but not mandatory.

Self-Motivated: Take initiative and thrive even with limited supervision.

Professional Demeanor: Exhibit a professional and courteous demeanor, maintaining the priority of a positive customer experience.

Education: High school or equivalent.

Experience: Administrative: 1 year (required), Customer service: 1 year (required)

Schedule: 30 hr/week, M-F, schedule TBD with the right candidate.

The environment is fairly casual.

Must be willing to work on-site.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
