Located on a lush tropical campus, our flagship hospital, Advent Health Orlando, with 1,368 beds, offers great benefits including immediate health insurance coverage, career growth, and advancement potential. The Role:

The Research Administrative Coordinator I provides independent administrative and operational support to research departments and investigators. They collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, organize department events, support grant application processes, and manage projects with a focus on customer service and relationship management.

Responsibilities Include:

Collaborate with AHRI and Advent Health teams such as the Office of Sponsored Programs, Research Portfolio Management, and Research Finance.

Support process improvements, perform quality control checks, and ensure attention to detail.

Organize department events and reconcile expenses with Research Finance.

Assist in hosting meetings, preparing materials, recording and sharing minutes.

Coordinate logistics for meetings and events, including scheduling, catering, A/V support, and onsite logistics.

Work with the Marketing team to promote department activities.

Maintain departmental calendars.

Qualifications:

Four years of related administrative support experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Ability to work independently under deadlines and manage multiple projects.

Responsible, organized, and problem-solving skills.

Strong attention to detail, analytical, and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and ability to learn new systems.

Knowledge of grant proposals, budgets, financial spreadsheets, and reconciliation processes.
