Central Michigan 2-1-1 is seeking a Resource Specialist to take the lead in maintaining our vital community resource database. This role combines data management, community engagement, and behind-the-scenes impact that truly makes a difference.
What You’ll Do:
Keep our regional community resource database accurate, up-to-date, and organized.
Assign and maintain appropriate AIRS Taxonomy codes to ensure resources are categorized correctly.
Attend local community meetings and networking events to stay informed and bring new resources into the database.
Act as a key liaison between Central Michigan 2-1-1 and the communities we serve.
Share important updates and changes with our Information & Referral team.
Ensure our work meets national AIRS standards, CARF accreditation requirements, and MDHHS protocols.
Take on additional projects and responsibilities as assigned; every day is a little different!

A detail-oriented, organized professional who loves both data and people.
Someone who thrives in a mission-driven environment and believes in the power of connection.
Experience with AIRS Taxonomy or information & referral services is a plus but not required; we are happy to train the right candidate.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
