I am seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant to support my solo practice law firm in various administrative and accounting tasks. The ideal candidate will be highly proficient in Quickbooks Online and will possess strong bookkeeping skills and have some , though that experience is not mandatory. A college degree is preferred. This role is essential for ensuring smooth operations within the office and requires a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Responsibilities
Perform bank reconciliation to ensure accurate financial records.
Prepare journal entries and maintain accurate financial documentation.
Enter attorney time and prepare invoices for clients.
Utilize Quickbooks Online for managing financial transactions and records.
Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks efficiently.
Collaborate with attorney to streamline administrative and financial processes.
Skills
Proficiency in bank reconciliation, journal entries, payroll, and accounts payable/receivable.
Highly Experienced with Quickbooks Online is mandatory.
Strong organization skills
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Law firm experience highly desirable, though not mandatory.

Hours
12- 15 hours per week/ three days per work. Working remotely from home in some instances may be acceptable.
