We are seeking an Administrative Assistant / General Clerical in Jacksonville to join our team.
Responsibilities
Responsible for performing a variety of clerical and administrative duties, including data entry, filing and answering phones, and assisting customers.
An ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Review shop work orders and obtain the necessary materials.
Operate industrial cutting machinery used in woodworking shops such as horizontal band saws and electric sanders.
Ensure that materials conform to specifications.
Knows and adheres to all safety rules and procedures for handling chemicals and operating equipment.
Produce orders to schedule to satisfy customer needs and production requirements.
Complete all required Quality inspections, testing, and documentation.
Perform routine preventative maintenance.
Perform duties of other team members as required during breaks and absences.
Other duties as assigned.
Job Overview
Administrative Support:
Answering phones, emails, and handling inquiries.
Maintaining and updating computer records.
Organizing file systems and filing correspondence.
Ordering and maintaining supplies.
Coordinating meetings and scheduling appointments.
Assisting with shipping procedures and purchase orders.
Manufacturing-Specific Tasks:
Tracking and updating product and supply inventories.
Maintaining and updating the manufacturing calendar and schedules.
Ensuring compliance with company health, safety, and environmental policies.
Other Potential Tasks:
Data entry and report generation.
Timekeeping.
Qualifications
Education:
High School diploma or equivalent.
High proficiency in Microsoft Office, EXCEL is highly recommended for this job.
Pay Rate: US$ 19.00 – $25 per hour. Bonus applies.
