Job Description
Provides the director and managers of sales and marketing with administrative and clerical support including word-processing, typing, e-mailing, filing, data-entry, faxing, copying, corresponding, answering telephones, processing mail, taking notes, ordering supplies and/or assisting guests
Primary Responsibilities
Respond to client calls and special requests
Obtain final details, dates, times, and hotel room and meeting room requirements from new clients
Administrative duties such as typing proposals, letters, contracts, entering rooming lists etc.
Assist with coordinating outside vendors as needed
Provide guest room and property tours to prospective groups
Maintain calendars
Assist with traces in Hotel Sales Pro
Assist with mailing (Brochures, contracts, requests etc..)
Handle other duties as assigned by Group Sales manager and Director of Sales
Requirements
Must be willing to work holidays and weekends.
Basic computer knowledge required
Friendly, outgoing personality and professional appearance required.
Hospitality experience and/or customer service experience preferred.
Excellent communication skills and positive attitude required.
