We are currently seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Staffing Coordinator / Scheduler to join our Williamsport team. This role is essential in ensuring our consumers receive consistent, dependable care through effective scheduling and communication.
Position Summary
The Staffing Coordinator plays a critical role in coordinating schedules between caregivers and consumers. This position requires strong organizational skills, quick problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to perform well in a fast-paced, sometimes high-stress environment. The ideal candidate is dependable, solution-focused, and thrives as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and maintain schedules for multiple consumers and caregivers
- Ensure all shifts are properly staffed to meet consumer care needs
- Manage schedule changes, call-offs, and last-minute coverage needs
- Problem-solve daily scheduling challenges efficiently and professionally
- Communicate clearly with caregivers, clients, and management
- Monitor caregiver hours, availability, and continuity of care
- Ensure scheduling practices comply with company policies and state regulations
- Maintain accurate documentation, scheduling systems, and communication logs
- Provide general administrative and scheduling-related support to the office team
Qualifications
- Prior scheduling experience OR Associate’s degree in Healthcare, Business, or related field
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to handle stress and make quick, sound decisions
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic required
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency with computer systems and scheduling software preferred
