Scientific Administrator (ERNDIM) Job in Manchester at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust –

Then consider a move to Manchester and join the administration team for ERNDIM (European Research Network for evaluation and improvement of screening, Diagnosis and treatment of Inherited disorders of Metabolism, www.erndim.org).

The post is varied and challenging, and the successful individual will be expected to use their own initiative, to work well as part of a team and to promote good working relationships with other colleagues and organisations, locally, nationally and internationally. The Scientific Administrator will assist in organising and managing the External Quality Assessment (EQA) schemes, and other activities of ERNDIM.

The main duties of the post holder will be to provide administrative, communication and finance support for the ERNDIM network, including supporting accreditation of ERNDIM to ISO 17043:2010, harmonising the organisation of the EQA schemes and liaising with external providers of subcontracted services. Additionally, the post holder will plan and manage training events on behalf of ERNDIM and also SSIEM (The Society for the Study of Inborn Errors of Metabolism) a partner organisation of ERNDIM.
