Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and organized Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our company, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth operations at the front desk. This is a full-time position with competitive pay.
Responsibilities:
– Bring a positive energy to the team and an excitement about the workday
– Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner
– Answering phone calls and accurately address client and patient needs, accurately recording phone conversations.
– Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries
– Perform accurate data entry tasks to update and maintain accurate client and patient records
– Schedule appointments and manage calendars for staff member
– Maintain flow of clients and patients
-Ensure accuracy of invoicing and taking payments
– Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area
– Maintining cleanliness of facility
– Assisting clients with financing options
– Gentle animal handling including taking and recording patient weight
– Ability to meet physical demands of restraining animals and lifting up to 40lbs.
– Ability to meet physical demands of standing and/or sitting for long period
– Other tasks as assigned
Skills:
– Previous experience as a Front Desk Receptionist or similar role is preferred
– Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in data entry and calendar management
– Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
– Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a high-paced environment
– Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
– Professional demeanor with exceptional customer service skills
Note: Veterinary receptionist experience is a plus, but not required.
