As an Executive Assistant within PNC’s ACFR organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA. The position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at the manager’s discretion.

As an Executive Assistant I, you will be responsible for handling all executive duties up to and including coordinating with executive direct reports, calendar management, coordination with other administrative assistants, relationship building, handling travel arrangements, pre-approval requests for expense reports, relationship building, etc.

Due to the nature of this position we are seeking experienced executive assistants. Candidates should be resourceful, with the ability to prioritize tasks with an executive understanding.

Job Description
Provides executive level support to managers at the management hierarchy level 3 by performing an array of administrative functions requiring confidentiality, initiative and sound decision making for the executive.
Responds to routine correspondence; drafts correspondence for the executive’s approval and signature; schedules appointments; coordinatesmeetings, conferences and travel arrangements. Manages executive’s calendar, committingexecutive’s time.
Facilitates the executive’s work by establishing, organizing and maintaining files of correspondence, records and related materials. Information handled may include highly confidential information dealing with the long and short-range plans of the organization, personnel issues, salary information and customers.
Ensures the efficiency of department operations by directing the activities of secretaries and clerical staff. Provides support by screening and routing telephone calls, mail and visitors, responding to routine questions, and obtaining and furnishing information to save the manager’s time. Sets priorities for telephone calls and visitors.
Prepares complex management reports/documents by gathering, organizing, summarizing and analyzing data. Controls expenses by monitoring and researching operating budget variances, balancing manager’s expense account, authorizing bills for payment, and recommending equipment purchases.
