Summary

The HR and Admin Coordinator will report to the Chief People Officer, and be responsible for the execution of HR processes, employee relations, and training. This position will maintain administrative processes at the Ewing, NJ Cultivation Site. This role will develop and maintain a happy, productive workforce, and facilitate a culture that aligns with the company values. Responsibilities of this role include:

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

Respond to phone calls, emails, etc.
Order and manage office supplies
Plan meetings and take notes
Handling complaints and queries
Facilitate and coordinate between HR and employees
Ensure HR rules and procedures are implemented and always followed.
Other office duties as assigned
Recruitment: Help with hiring-related tasks, such as setting up interviews, managing state affiliations and managing onboarding of new employees.
Data maintenance in HRIS of employee records.
Update and maintain necessary recordkeeping for company and policy compliance.
Employee Relations: Collaborate with HR team to receive feedback/complaints and conduct research to resolve problems as needed. Assist in internal investigations.
Answer questions from employees, applicants, and external stakeholders.
Provide Payroll support
Use discretion and maintain strict confidentiality
Support other HR related tasks as needed

Qualifications
Education and Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 1-2 years of HR, Customer Service, or Cannabis experience; or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to take direction and complete daily tasks with minimal supervision
Effective planning, organization and time management skills and experience
Attention to detail; must process things accurately in a timely fashion
Ability to maintain high standards in a fast paced, constantly evolving environment
Comfortability with a changing work environment
Excellent customer service skills
Punctual, professional, and able to communicate clearly with your manager and other staff
Must be 21 years old and pass all requirements for state cannabis affiliation

TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Office environment involves frequent standing, sitting, and walking. Daily administrative tasks require frequent use of eye, hand, and finger coordination for accurate typing, paperwork, and other tasks. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Employees could be exposed to indoor cultivation environments.
