Responsibilities:
The primary purpose of the Secretary I position is to provide high level confidential support to the Executive Director and the Chief of Service in regards with the administrative activities within the department. Ensures all departmental exams are dictated and approved according to set guidelines. Oversees all personnel files are kept current and accurate regarding hospital and regulatory certifications, licenses, evaluations, and any other required documentation.

Qualifications:
Graduation from an accredited program in secretarial studies plus (4) years of full-time secretarial experience required. An additional year of experience is required in lieu of the secretarial program. Proficiency in typing and Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint required. Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills. College credits may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for secretarial experience. Up to sixty (60) credits may be substituted for two years of secretarial experience.
