The Opportunity

The Section Administrator provides essential support to the Manager and business line in effectively managing the team, people, resources, and projects. This role ensures smooth day-to-day operations of the section while contributing to the achievement of organisational goals by coordinating administrative tasks and assisting with resource planning. We are looking for someone who will become a ‘go-to person’ for our team and to support our manager and our wider team.

Key Functions Of The Role Include

Responsible for providing administrative services and assistance to the Section Manager including but not limited to welcoming – new team member, team schedules, events, workloads to ensure efficient utilisation of resources, etc.

Contribute to the coordination of section activities including weekly or monthly reports or meeting, correspondence coordination.

Provide a quality service to internal and external clients.

Provide administrative support for project planning, scheduling, and reporting activities.

Act in timely manner to complete all internal client request efficiently and inform clients when unable to meet expectations and reach agreement on course of action.

Assist in preparing project documentation such as proposals, progress reports, meeting minutes, and presentations

Preparing invoices, keeping pipeline accuracy, updating organization charts, and supporting business managers.

Build rapport and communicate professionally with all team members and clients.

Track and manage section resources, including equipment, tools, and office supplies, ensuring availability for project needs.

About You

You’ll need to be well-organised, action-oriented, and enjoy interacting with a diverse team. Your role will involve proactively identifying the team’s needs and adapting to changing priorities.

English proficiency is a must.

Proven experience in administrative roles; prior experience in supporting managers or teams is preferred.

Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.

Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or similar tools.

Ability to multitask and prioritise work effectively.

Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to challenges.

Familiarity with project coordination or resource management is a plus.
