II. Role Description
We are seeking a strategic Security Head to oversee the protection of our personnel, assets, and site operations. This position requires a professional capable of integrating traditional physical security with modern digital measures and business continuity strategies. The successful candidate will ensure that security initiatives align with industrial standards and the unique operational demands of the mining operations.
III. Key Responsibilities
The Security Head will manage four critical pillars of the security department:
- Intelligence & Investigation: Oversee information gathering and validation, lead internal investigations, and ensure the strict enforcement of company rules and regulations.
- Surface & Internal Operations: Manage protective services for product and personnel. Oversee camp security, firefighting services, and the management of private security agencies.
- Mill & Underground Operations: Lead specialized patrolling and surveillance for the Refinery and CIP operations. Enhance security protocols for both mill and underground environments to prevent loss and ensure safety.
- Administration & Compliance: Direct the management of security licenses, permits, and records. Facilitate mandatory emergency drills (Fire, Bomb Threat, Explosion, etc.) and oversee CCTV reporting.
IV. Qualifications
- Extensive experience in a senior security management role, ideally within the mining or heavy industrial sector.
- Proven expertise in physical security, business continuity planning, and risk mitigation.
- Strong knowledge of information security and the ability to manage secure network infrastructures against emerging threats.
- Demonstrated ability to lead during unexpected events, maintaining composure and decisive action.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and industrial compliance standards.
