Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Security Surveillance Officer based in Port Moresby. The Security Surveillance Officer will be responsible for monitoring property premises, identifying and reporting suspicious activities, and ensuring the safety and security of assets, residents, and visitors. Daily tasks include operating surveillance systems, coordinating with security teams, drafting incident reports, and enforcing safety protocols. The role also requires collaboration with supervisory staff to maintain a high standard of security operations.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in security surveillance or a similar role
- IT background or equivalent
- Proficient in using surveillance technology, CCTV systems, and security software
- Strong attention to detail and excellent observational skills
- Ability to remain calm and act quickly under pressure
- Good communication and report-writing skills
- Must be willing to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends
