Senior Administrative Assistant (Administrative Support Assistant III) – Talent Acquisition Jobs in McLean, VA at Capital One

Responsibilities and Essential functions:

Provides primary administrative support to the Health Services office;
Organize and maintain Health Services student files and database recordings of physicals, immunizations, correspondence, pre-season/seasonal athletic forms, new and returning student and trip forms compliance, and other student health related records;
General correspondence coordination with parents, students and other School departments including collaboration with the Admissions and Athletic departments;
Transportation of resident student medical appointments:
Liaise and coordinate appointments
Transporting/accompanying students for medical appointments
Collaborate with communications department for Health Services related School community announcements;
Assist with the flow of students in the Health Services office, coordinate with the Upper School and Middle School on student absences, tardiness and early dismissals;
Coordinate and process resident student health insurance claims/invoices, including reconciliation, appeals, billing and submission of payment;
General health services office supplies:
Coordinate supply ordering utilizing Commission requirements/protocols (price quotes, vendors, etc.)
Ordering, stocking, and Inventory of office supplies
Perform tasks which are supportive in nature to the essential functions of the job, which may be altered or redesigned as necessary.

The ideal candidate will possesses the following qualifications:

3-5 years of experience in a school or office atmosphere;
Authentic, friendly, professional, and welcoming;
Enjoys meeting new people and is comfortable around students, teachers, administrators, parents, etc. in a diverse and inclusive community;
Personal qualities including resilience, approachability, and kindness;
Must possess good judgment, tact, sensitivity, and discretion in the handling of confidential information, materials and situations;
Display the highest ethical and professional behavior.
Strong organizational and time management skills;
Must be detailed oriented as well as through and accurate in maintaining details and communication;
Strong technical competency;
Outstanding writing, collaboration and teamwork skills;
Must be AED, CPR and Epinephrine certified (training will be provided);
Ability to prioritize and effectively manage diverse tasks and complete job responsibilities with minimal supervisory direction.
