The Position

ABOUT US:

The East Bay Regional Park District is a system of beautiful parklands in Alameda and Contra Costa counties to the east of San Francisco. The system comprises 73 parks spanning across 126,809 acres; 1,250 miles of trails; 55 miles of shoreline. We manage and preserve natural and cultural resources for all to enjoy and protect. The regional parks are ideal for healthful recreation and environmental education. THE OPPORTUNITY:

The Park District currently has three (3) vacancies located in the following departments: 1) Acquisition, Stewardship and Development Administration, 2) Operations Administration and 3) Public Works Administration #2. The hiring pools established as a result of this recruitment will be used to fill the current vacancies and any additional vacancies that may occur during the one-year life of the hiring pools.

Acquisition, Stewardship and Development Administration:

Reporting to the Senior Executive Assistant, this position is located out of the Administrative Headquarters in Oakland, CA (2950 Peralta Oaks Court). This position provides support to the ASD division as a whole.

Public Works Administration #2

: Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, this position is located out of the Pachco Corp Yard (4595 Pacheco Boulevard, Martinez). This position provides support to the Public Works #2 division as a whole.

Operations Administration
