SUMMARY: Performs general and accounting administrative duties and assists with other clerical tasks as they may arise. This is a non-exempt, full-time position.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs general administrative duties for the Accounting Team, including but not limited to administrative support, scheduling, scanning, filing, faxing, copying, and printing.
Picks up, collects, sorts, stamps, distributes, and prepares mail for pick-up.
Collects checks and/or cash payments from the front desk and Patient Pharmacy.
Reconciles front desk batches.
Inputs charge entries for virtual card payments and copay assistance.
Prepares bank deposits for cash or checks that cannot be deposited remotely and delivers them to the bank.
Stuffs and mails out accounts payable checks issued weekly.
Reports any donations received by check to the Development team.
Schedules FedEx pickups for the Lab or take Lab packages to FedEx.
Maintains the postage machine, including purchasing postage and supplies and scheduling maintenance.
Take notes and provide follow-up for all Accounting meetings.
Manages calendars for the Controller and Accounting Manager.
Performs other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma or GED.
Minimum of one (1) year of work-related skill, knowledge, or experience in a similar position.
Proof of automobile liability coverage in compliance with the State of Nevada’s compulsory automobile insurance laws.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent customer service skills
General knowledge of computer programs and Microsoft applications including but not limited to Word and Excel.
Well organized and detail oriented.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Occasionally moves up to 15lbs.
Occasionally required to work at a desk and computer for extended periods of time.
Frequently required to drive locally.
Frequently required to stoop, bend, kneel, stand, walk, reach.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: English.
