What will you be doing?
The Senior Administrator is responsible for providing a comprehensive business administration service to support the operational needs of the community substance misuse service providing support to drug and alcohol users.
You will be responsible for contributing to and monitoring the targets set by senior management while supporting managers with administrative tasks and accurately producing meeting minutes as required.
As a team leader youll also be responsible for managing a small admin team providing supervision, training and guidance and stepping-in to support with staff absences which will involve secretarial duties, prescription production, data entry tasks and monitoring systems.
The role includes involvement in the production of clinical audits (to monitor the production of prescriptions) and routine monthly health and safety checks of the building.
Some flexibility of delivery may be required within the role which may include evening shifts depending on service needs.
What are we looking for?
An intermediate to advanced certification or demonstrable experience in Microsoft packages.
A minimum of one years experience of providing administrative support within a large team, demonstrating ability to work in a pressured environment.
Experience of accurately collating statistical information, with an attention to detail and report writing.
Experience of developing, implementing or maintaining large databases and managing administrative tasks associated with them.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to deal with people of all levels and to work on own initiative in preparing correspondence.
Willingness to develop an understanding of the aims of Forward and support the organisations ethos.
Previous experience of working within a confidential and/or secure environment.
Experience of working closely with senior managers and/or remote management.
