Aufgaben
Objective
- As a core member of the project team, strategize and propose solutions to top management on critical issues impacting the Group’s long-term competitiveness and performance
- Ensure delivery of high-quality outcomes for assigned work streams. Responsibilities encompass analysis, communication, and project management. Collaborate closely with both project team members and internal stakeholders
- Garner insights into major market and technology trends within China's automotive sector, enhancing our knowledge base in areas such as e-mobility, digitalization, and software
- Establish and maintain trusted advisory relationships with key internal stakeholders, pinpointing areas of improvement, particularly where MBMC China can provide support
- Actively engage in various MBMC initiatives, fostering the integration of MBMC China into the global team and deepening understanding of the Chinese market through effective communication
Responsibility
- Project Delivery: Ensure exceptional execution of assigned work streams, driving the success of MBMC projects
- Focus exclusively on one project at a time, with typical durations ranging from 1 to 3 months
- Undertake projects encompassing areas such as R&D, marketing & sales, general management consulting, as well as digital/data analytics
- Engage deeply with both the project team and internal stakeholders
- Identify and recommend areas where MBMC China can offer improvements and support
- Team Development: Play a pivotal role in the foundation of MBMC China and actively participate in MBMC's global activities
- Tailor MBMC China's operational procedures based on global best practices while adapting to local requirements
- Actively contribute to global MBMC initiatives, including but not limited to recruiting, training, and culture-building
- Knowledge Development: Cultivate expertise in your selected areas, aiming to become a recognized domain authority and the go-to resource within MBMC
- Zero in on strategically significant topic areas such as e-mobility, digitalization/software, and ADAS/AI
- Curate a robust mix of external data sources and establish a professional network to gain deeper insights beyond desktop research
- Regularly consolidate findings and facilitate knowledge sharing
Qualifikationen
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree from a leading institution, with a preference for majors in science and engineering.
- Advanced or professional degree (e.g., MBA, PhD) is a plus
- Prior experience as a Senior Analyst, Associate, or Consultant from a top-tier global management consultancy OR a product/strategy role in a leading company within the automotive sector
- Hands-on experience with the EV value chain (e.g. batteries and charging infrastructure) OR expertise in digitalization, software, and AI is advantageous. A passion for automobiles and emerging technologies is desirable
- Fluent in both English and Mandarin Chinese. Proficiency in German is a plus. Multiple years of experience in managing cross-functional, cross-divisional, and international projects is advantageous
- Demonstrated analytical and communication skills. Proven track record as a motivated high achiever and a collaborative team player
- Open to international travel, primarily to Germany
