Finance Department. You’ll be part of a highly skilled, self-motivated team ensuring our statutory and regulatory financial obligations are met with

precision

and timeliness.

Your new role

As a Senior Finance Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the Financial Controller and wider finance team. You’ll be responsible for a variety of finance and administrative tasks, contributing to the smooth operation of our financial processes and helping maintain a professional and welcoming office environment.

Key Responsibilities

Manage credit control and sales invoicing for the organisation and its subsidiaries.

Access and monitor bank accounts.

Support the Finance Assistant with:

Matching purchase invoices

Resolving payment queries

Supplier statement reconciliations

Payment runs

Spreadsheet maintenance

Month-end reporting

Document control (filing, photocopying, scanning)

Handle incoming calls and resolve queries or forward messages appropriately.

Contribute to maintaining a safe, tidy, and welcoming office space.

What you’ll need to succeed

Strong knowledge of Sage 50 Accounts.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Excellent verbal and written

communication skills

.

Strong organisational and administrative abilities.

Proven ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively.

Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively.

What you’ll get in return 35 hours/week | Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 16:30

Flexible, hybrid working.

Holiday: 23 days annual leave + statutory holidays
