Position Purpose: Reporting to the Supervisor, Academic Administration, the incumbent serves as a first point of contact for students by receiving, acknowledging, and responding to various student requests, ensuring high-quality client service to attract and retain students. Responsibilities include executing administrative tasks such as evaluating requests, making recommendations, approving certain requests, and providing follow-ups. The role also involves attending graduation ceremonies and events to promote the University and Faculty services.

Responsibilities include:

Assess student needs:
Evaluate, interpret, and translate student needs to determine applicable policies and procedures.

Plan interventions:
Support planning for student issues with diagnoses and recommendations.

Execute interventions:
Assist in implementing solutions by providing relevant information.

Admissions:
Analyze files with conditional acceptance or equivalences; monitor deadlines.

Modification to program of study:
Handle requests for program modifications.

Course selection and registration:
Manage requests for course registration, determine eligibility, and finalize approvals.

Qualifications and Skills:

Postsecondary education and experience in a similar role.

Knowledge of academic programs at various levels.

Experience interpreting policies, researching data, and creating reports.

Problem-solving, decision-making, and client service experience.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and internet applications.

Ability to manage conflicting priorities and meet deadlines.

Organizational, analytical, listening skills, and strong work ethics.

Bilingual in French and English.
