We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Bookkeeper/Office Assistant (15-20 hours/week) to join our busy Real Estate Attorney office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of office tasks, with a focus on financial management, administrative support, and occasional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
QuickBooks Management: Manage basic bookkeeping and financial tasks using QuickBooks. Financial data entry, preparing checks, paying bills, reconciliation of bank and credit card accounts. Update old outstanding checks and unpaid bills.
Administrative Support: Assist with general office duties, including document preparation and data entry using Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
Review Title Policy drawer for timely update of receipt of title, and payment of title.
Client Interaction: Answer incoming calls and direct inquiries as needed.
Bank Deposits: Make daily/weekly deposits and assist with office finances.
Qualifications:
Proficient in QuickBooks, Outlook, Teams, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
Ability to work independently and take initiative.
Prior office or administrative experience preferred.
Schedule: Flexible hours, approximately 15-20 hours per week.
