Job Summary
*** Telework (Within Minnesota or neighboring state counties) and flexible hours options are available for up to 50% of scheduled workdays.***
This position is the primary administrative support person for the Department of Humans Services (DHS) Quality Assurance and Disability Compliance (QADC) Services which includes the QADC Services administrative team and the Successful Life Project (SLP) team. In this capacity, this person must be able to: carry out administrative policies and procedures of the office by exercising independent judgment in maintaining the normal workflow; ensure all correspondence is prepared and released according to due dates; and ensure that the public is served as efficiently and properly as possible. This incumbent participates in covering phone calls and answering questions or redirecting calls to the appropriate person; incumbent must be able to work with other support staff to provide assistance or backup assistance to the team and other staff members.
Responsibilities include but may not be limited to:
Provide administrative and clerical support to QADC Services and the Successful Life Project.
Develop and implement procedures to manage QADC Services’ administrative support functions to ensure administrative tasks are completed.
Function as the technical support liaison (TSL) for QADC Services.
Provide administrative support and technical assistance to help QADC Services manage their schedules, travel and meetings and support the team’s ability to meet its goals in a timely, efficient, and effective fashion.
Provide data entry support to manage QADC Services’ database(s).
Coordinate with other DHS administrations on administrative policies and procedures to help ensure compliance with DHS standards and guidelines.

Minimum Qualifications

Customer Service skills sufficient to provide prompt, courteous and accurate information to customers in person, on the phone, and through e-mail and other written correspondence.
Data Entry Performance sufficient to input data quickly and accurately.
Database Management skills sufficient to create and update databases.
Spreadsheets skills sufficient to create and update spreadsheets.
Typing/Keyboarding skills sufficient to accurately type information into various formats.
Word processing skills sufficient to type correspondence, reports and other written material.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of DHS programs and organizational structures.
Knowledge of data privacy standards.
Variety of experiences working effectively with others from different backgrounds and cultures.
