Location: Wissington

Salary: Range £31,840 to £36,500

Job Purpose

We are looking for a self-sufficient and experienced Administrator to provide support to the Wissington site which will include organising site meetings, events, diary management etc as well as covering our compliance administration across Safety and Health, Quality, Environment (QESH) and Food Safety and Quality (FSQ). Working with the subject matters experts you will establish effective ways of working, recording information and ensuring our reporting timelines are met.

The successful candidate will have a proactive and solution focused attitude, with the capability to juggle varying priorities, whilst balancing the immediate needs of a variety of stakeholders.

Core Accountabilities

Prepare and compile weekly Safety & Environment Key Performance Indicator statistics

Review all incidents including near misses recorded into Alcumus InfoExchange system, escalating to Subject Matter Expert (SME) when required

Coordination of the period end QESH management meeting

Ensure all near miss tracking is up to date and available for review

Collation and tracking of all permit audits, ensuring it is up to date

Compile incident documentation for investigations to ensure they are complete and recorded

Take a proactive approach in supporting the audit schedule & coordination for the site to ensure continued ISO compliance in all areas of QESH and FSQ

Site coordination for Document Management System

Support with coordination of Safety & Health Committee meetings & reviewing of actions

Provide support with display screen and manual handling risk assessments

Support with ad-hoc requests as required to support the business

Support APU teams with administration activities of common systems we use such as Powersteering, Alcumus, PPCA system, Dimensions to name a few. This is not an exhaustive list.

Support the delivery of the site communication strategy

Coordination of site visits.

Support of other functions in preparation of materials as required.

Critical Skills, Knowledge And Competencies

Educated to GCSE standard including English and Maths and/or previous experience in managing administration for QESH or a compliance function would be beneficial

Excellent organisational skills & proven ability to multi-task & prioritise own workload

Good interpersonal skills and able to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders

Ability to work on own initiative and take ownership of work

Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy

Experience of database management, such as Alcumus or ISO achiever is desirable but not essential

A willingness to learn & undertake further training, including IOSH managing safely, manual handling and Display Screen risk Assessor
