Role Summary
- We are seeking an experienced Site HR & Administration Officer to oversee onsite HR operations, workforce administration, camp coordination, and personnel systems within a remote mining environment. This role is responsible for ensuring efficient workforce mobilisation, compliance, employee records management, accommodation coordination, and operational administration while supporting site leadership and departmental teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage onsite HR administration, employee records, rosters, leave, training, and compliance documentation.
- Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, inductions, workforce mobilisation, and personnel movements.
- Develop and maintain HR and administration systems, workforce databases, reporting tools, and attendance tracking processes.
- Oversee camp administration, accommodation allocation, travel logistics, and workforce welfare activities.
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation, company policies, site procedures, and workforce standards.
- Support workforce reporting, payroll inputs, contractor administration, and operational staffing requirements.
- Work closely with operational departments to support workforce planning and site performance.
- Head of Community AffairsPromote a strong safety culture and ensure personnel meet all mobilisation and training requirements.
Requirements
- 5 10 years' experience in HR, workforce administration, or site administration within mining, oil & gas, construction, or resource sectors.
- Experience working in remote operational environments, preferably in Papua New Guinea or similar jurisdictions.
- Strong knowledge of workforce mobilisation, camp operations, personnel systems, and compliance processes.
- Excellent organisational, communication, stakeholder management, and reporting skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR/workforce management systems.
- Valid driver's licence.
