Full Job Description

The Spa Front Desk Agent at PGA National Resort Responsibilities.

Greet all guests promptly and in a courteous manner

Handle all calls promptly and courteously providing accurate information

Provide all guests with all Spa collateral material, information on monthly specials and preferred patron program

Post all charges following accurate accounting procedures

Run closing reports and balance bank at the end of your shift

Sell all Spa and Salon retail products and assist with monthly inventory

Keep Spa retail areas clean and well stocked and inform management of any areas that need attention

Maintain accurate status of each guest’s method of payment with particular attention to Resort Guest’s room numbers and Member’s account numbers. Be aware of membership expiration dates.

Insure that Guests with groups are billed accordingly

Read any notes in Guest profile to provide accurate billing i.e.: VIP charge to sales, or charge to credit card, etc.

Involve management if there are any Front Desk issues that require attention such as scheduling errors, gender conflicts, etc.

Maintain accurate record of Gift Certificate Sales

Keep Front Desk well stocked and neat and clean at all times

Review and keep up to date on all departmental and relevant resort memos

Deliver messages as required

Perform other duties as assigned by manager

Education and Experience:High school diploma or equivalent; some college, a plus. Front desk, Reception, must have 1-year experience in Spa, and/or Guest Services knowledge required.

Reasoning Ability:Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization may exist. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.

Other Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of cash register, calculator, typewriter/keyboard, computer, credit card and check machines.

Responsibility and Authority: Employee Relations: Ability to effectively communicate with all departments, regular communication with Director of Spa, all Spa Managers, and with all Spa and Salon employees. Ability to maintain a high level of service and discipline with all Spa departments.
