Job Summary
Northstar Fire & Protection is looking for an Administrative Assistant in our Taylor, Texas office. In this position you will be responsible for a wide range of customer service and administrative duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Welcomes visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries.
Answer telephone, screen and direct calls
Provide information to callers or take and relay messages, as needed
Greet persons entering organization and direct to correct destination
Deal with queries from the public and customers
Provide general administrative and clerical support
Receive and sort mail and deliveries
Maintain appointment schedule as requested to know who is coming and when
Other duties assigned
Qualifications
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Professional phone etiquette
Possess an upbeat, positive, and enthusiastic attitude with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to multi-task
Be a confident self-starter who works well independently and team player as well
