Italic is seeking an organized Assistant to join our LA-based team and play a crucial role in managing our excess inventory and facilitating sales events.

Responsibilities

Inventory Management

List excess inventory on various marketplaces, ensuring accurate descriptions and pricing are in place to maximize sales opportunities.
Regularly update and maintain inventory records, keeping track of listings across different platforms to ensure consistency and accuracy.

Sales Event Coordination

Organize and facilitate sample sales, including planning, setting up the sales space, and coordinating with the marketing team to ensure events are well-promoted and successful.
Monitor sales event performance, gathering data on customer attendance, sales figures, and feedback to inform future events and strategies.

Moving Coordination

Assist with booking and organizing moves for excess inventory, liaising with logistics providers to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure a smooth process from inventory selection to delivery at the sale location or distribution center.

Requirements

Technical Skills

Experience in inventory or retail management preferred, with a strong understanding of marketplace platforms and online sales strategies.
Proficiency in inventory management software and tools, with the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
Basic understanding of logistics and supply chain processes, including shipping and receiving goods.

Soft Skills

Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail and the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to coordinate effectively with team members, external partners, and customers.
A proactive problem-solver, able to identify issues and implement solutions swiftly and efficiently.
