Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual tojoin our teamas the Spiritual Formation Department Coordinator. The successful candidate will provide critical support to our Pastor of Spiritual Formation, ensuring smooth execution of key initiatives across the department.
The Coordinator provides administrative support to the department by managing various aspects of course, class, and event planning,communication, and logistics. The ideal candidate will have excellentproject managementskills, with experience in planning and coordinating multiple events. They will be able to work independently, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously. Strong written and verbalcommunication skills, administrative expertise, and the ability to maintain a balanced workload are essential.
As a key member of our team, they will be expected to proactively anticipate needs, provide high-level support to our leaders, and exercise good judgment infast-pacedsituations. The Coordinator should have a servant’s heart, taking pride in providing administrative support to our pastoral team, enthusiastically tackling behind-the-scenes tasks that enable those they support to focus on their core responsibilities. Additionally,leadershipskills are an asset as you will be responsible for overseeing on ramps for volunteer teams.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support andproject managementfor courses, classes, cohorts, trainings, and events from concept to completion
Managecommunicationand email correspondence
Submit event,promotionand calendar request forms
Administer the Planning Center platform (PCO)
Manage resources and supplies including catering, snacks, and printed materials
Be available to attend and offer practical support during Spiritual Formation courses
Prioritize support needs from ministry leaders and department head
Assist with data management and content creation as needed
Develop and manage systems to improve course and class execution
Recruit, onboard, train, and administer volunteers for department-wide initiatives
Additional Job Functions:
Champion or support department strategic goals and initiatives
Purchase supplies as needed
Coordinate team meals as requested
Provide support with responding to general email inquiries related to spiritual formation sent to Bridgetown Church
Be available to provide one to one care for volunteers & course participants if requested by manager
Collaborate with other Bridgetown administrative staff to ensure needs are met across all church functions (Executive Assistant to the Pastor of Spiritual Formation as primary partner)
Minimum Job Qualifications:
